WHAT we are all about.

Our Story
“National Armory stands on three generations of firearms knowledge, craftsmanship, and passion. Our story begins just after World War II, when my grandfather, John Lee Brown, returned home and opened Brown’s Antiques. He built his reputation specializing in Kentucky long rifles, Winchester lever guns, and rare antique firearms. My grandmother kept the books and curated her own remarkable collection of miniature firearms—together, they laid the foundation for our family’s lifelong dedication to the trade.
My grandfather opened John Brown’s Armory in Sewickley, Pennsylvania in 1979, my father, Tim Brown, joined him, helping grow the business into one of Western Pennsylvania’s most trusted sources for antique and modern firearms. Over the years, JBA became a true community trading post—home to everything from Revolutionary War muskets and Civil War carbines to machine guns, suppressors, and the newest hard-to-get models.
Fast foward till today. I’m Nick Brown, the next generation to carry the family tradition forward. After working at JBA, I started my own journey in 2006 with a small personal collection and a few thousand dollars, opening Buckeye Firearms in Rogers, Ohio. Through hard work and an unmatched presence on the gun show circuit—eventually building one of the largest displays in the country—Buckeye Firearms expanded across multiple locations. In 2013, we brought our vision home to Pennsylvania and opened National Armory in Moon Township. What began as a single storefront has grown into one of the region’s premier firearms destinations. Today, National Armory spans multiple showrooms and offers thousands of firearms, an extensive selection of parts, accessories, and hard-to-find ammunition, and a retail experience built on access—where customers can handle, compare, and truly experience the products they’re choosing.”
